My Journey With Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy changed my life!
Prior to discovering hypnotherapy I had no idea that I could change my reactions, responses and habitual thought patterns. Prior to hypnotherapy I pretty much lived my life from that place of fight or flight, always stressed to the max and very easily triggered. I lived in the past and had a very strong victim mentality… I thought that this was just how I was and would always be.
But, I was lucky, I had a new way of seeing things introduced to me thanks to Louise Hay, Wayne Dyer, Bruce Lipton and many other Hay House teachings. They talked about how we can change from within, find inner peace and create the life we want no matter where we came from, this intrigued me and started me on my path to deep inner healing. I learned that my deep subconscious mind could be changed, that I could let the pain from past traumatic experiences go, I could change the limiting beliefs I had about myself and feel confident and good about who I am. I learned that I could train my mind to come from a place of love instead of fear. I learned that I could override old thought patterns and replace them with positive thought patterns. I learned how to see the best in everything and everyone instead of my mind going straight to the worst case scenario. I learned that all the anger I had inside was because I was holding onto pain from the past and most importantly I learned that my emotions are my greatest gift, not an annoying nuisance. I also noticed that Hypnotherapy was a form of therapy that they often suggested to help make these changes.
So I searched for a Hypnotherapist to help me, and I started my journey of inner healing, that was so long ago now and I am so happy that I choose that path, my life has changed in such an incredible and amazing way. My life changed so much that I had to help others to see that they too could make these changes within themselves. And because I was such a mess I knew that if I could make these changes anyone could!
I love that Hypnotherapy was what changed my life, because this way when I am talking to my clients I can honestly look them in the eyes and tell them YES, you can change these destructive behaviors, YES, you can be free from your fears, YES, you can let go of pain from your past experiences and find inner peace. YES, you can feel confident and fully love and accept yourself and the journey you are on.
In this world where so much is out of our control, our mind really is the one thing we can control. We can manage our emotions and learn to use them as the very valuable tools they are intended to be. It is an inside job, it is up to each of us to make that choice to change those thought patterns, limiting beliefs and destructive behaviors that are stopping us from living the life we truly feel called to live. When we change what’s happening on the inside everything around us does change.
UNDERSTANDING HYPNOTHERAPY
Hypnosis is a natural state we have all experienced and are capable of experiencing.
Hypnotherapy is a form of therapy used to utilize this state to make changes in the deepest part of our mind, our subconscious mind.
Our subconscious mind holds everything we have learned throughout our lives, all of the emotions we have felt from our experiences, all of the beliefs we have obtained throughout the years. It is the part of our mind working in the back ground of our lives.
Did you know, that the subconscious part of our mind does not know the difference between what is right or wrong or what is good or bad for us?
It just holds on to whatever we have taught it. If we do something over and over again it will make it an automatic behavior so that we don’t have to consciously think about it. Our mind is Amazing! And we are the Master!
The subconscious part of our mind holds onto habits, patterns, beliefs and reactions based on repetition or emotional experiences.
Change Your Subconscious Beliefs & Programs
Our conscious mind is the part of our mind that does know right from wrong, what we should or should not do, what is real and what is imagined. It is the part of you that knows you want to change.
Too often, people experience trauma or negative experiences during childhood that stay with them throughout their whole life when not dealt with properly. As a child your consciousness is not fully developed, and just as you believe in Santa Claus you may also believe mean things said to you. Creating negative beliefs that feel hard to change.
It’s not only in childhood that limiting beliefs are created. It is usually an experience that hurts deeply and feeling get left unresolved, creating self-doubt, and even fears and phobias.
You may know how you want to be consciously but another part of you just won’t let it happen. This is what it feels like when the two parts of your mind are not believing the same thing. You may know that you should not feel a certain way but you just do.
Hypnotherapy helps you to get the two parts of your mind (conscious & subconscious) to believe the same thing.

WAYS TO SUCCESS
Habits, patterns, reactions and fears get anchored into our subconscious mind and it feels like we do not have control. But you do, I promise you that you do.
You don’t have to live with pain from past experiences, you don’t have to live with fear or suffer inside. All of the experiences you have had, all the feelings you are holding onto from those experiences are for you to learn and grow, you do not need to hold on to them.
If you are being triggered then you are holding onto something. You may not realize it consciously, you may believe that you have done the work to heal. If there is nothing to “trigger”, you would not be “triggered”.
RESULTS
Hypnotherapy sessions help you to let go of the blocks, triggers, habits or fears anchored in the subconscious mind that are holding you back and replace them with new positive habits, beliefs or automatic behaviours you want to have helping you to be the best you can be!
